K9 Nose Work Classes

Below you’ll find descriptions for our current line up of our very popular K9 Nose Work classes where we’re tapping into your dogs amazing sense of smell!  Currently registration is open for our upcoming June 2020 classes.  A 6 week classes cost $125. Beginner Nose Work Dogs – These dogs are experience searching for food, but have the been introduced to ‘Odor’ based searches. 

  • ORT Prep & Proofing Class
    • Sundays @ 1:30PM – Starting 11/1/20 – 6 Week Class (90min class, 6 dog limit) – FULL

Competition K9 Nose Work – Dogs with proficiency in finding the target odor

(Birch, Anise or Clove – Please see class descriptions for prerequisites)

Can’t commit to a 6 week class?  Well, we have some Drop-ins Classes on the schedule!  Click Here and scroll down to “Nose Work Drop-In Classes” (be sure to read the “Session Notes” to determine the appropriate level,

Dogs must be reliable on the level appropriate odor for Drop-In classes.

Refund Policy:  Registration for 6 week classes close on 14 days prior to the first night of class, after which no refunds will be offered.  Cancelling prior to this date will receive a full refund, minus a $15 admin fee.

If you have not taken K9 Nose Work Classes from Kudos for Canines before, and wish to sign up for one of our Competition level classes, then you may be required to take 60min evaluation and training session. 

This will help us determine which class is most appropriate for you and your dog.  The price of this evaluation will be at our standard Competition Private rates.  Standard contracts and waivers will apply.

Most of our classes are held at 1201 Major St, Unit C, Normal IL 61761.  Occasionally we offer Road Trip classes, where we take our students to different community partners to hold our classes.

Kudos for Canines Equipment Policy: No choke chains, prong collars or shock collars are allowed to be used on site. Slip-style collars/leashes during conformation class only are acceptable.
